BBC NEWS | Americas | How do colleges try to keep students safe?



This is some kind of joke, right? This picture is ridiculous. This amount of security just screams "knee-jerk reaction."

A 15-foot high concrete wall? Metal detectors? Cameras every 30 feet? Bomb-sniffing dogs?

Call me crazy, but I'd rather take my chances with the crazies than have to live in this kind of fear-ridden environment.
